Popular Podcast of Crossover Jazz tunes

Blessed 21st century with all rich stuff that can lead us to know deeply about crossover jazz things. All the access open widely through the new media called podcast. Before i know this cool thing, mainly i updated my tunes collection from the CD’s, radio, mp3. Since i found some interesting podcast about nu jazz, it makes addition from all of my collection which i ever had. Also i would like to share with you guys.

So, these were some popular podcast about crossover jazz, nu soul, eclectic tunes you can subscribe into. The simplest way to do is just subscribe it with itunes. You will find that some podcast not only just contain great tunes, some of them also share the latest news, interview with common DJ in the nu jazz scope. Let’s have a look then.

  1. Gilles Peterson World Wide podcast
    Who didn’t know about Gilles Peterson, known as remarkable DJ, collector, record label owner of the finest eclectic jazz tunes (acid jazz, talkin loud, brownswood). He also known as God father of acid jazz. He has introduced many high profile band to break the new style such as brand new heavies, incognito, corduroy, jamiroquai, the james taylor quartet, ben westbeech, and many more.
  2. Marc Mac podcast
    Marc Mac is a one of duo 4hero member. In this podcast, he often compiled all influences tunes. The podcast include some of his favorite range style from the 70’s soul, funk, and fusion.
  3. Tortured Soulcast
    Tortured is a live house-band which blend house span on soul, dance, and funk. It consist of Ethan White on the keyboard, John-Christian Urich on the drum and vocal, and the Jkriv on the basses. The podcast cover some interview related DJ’s which remix their track, new update on the hits, and their favorite tunes.

    Ninja Tune is a London-based independent record label started in 1993 by DJs Matt Black and Jonathan More, better known as Coldcut, with a strong leaning towards electronic, alternative hip hop, instrumental hip hop, nu jazz, drum and bass, and chillout music. They have release some of great band like the cinematic orchestra, mr. scruff. This podcast contain some interview with all Ninja tune artist and hits sample.
